TIM Modem 8.22

Manage your TIM Modem, both at home and remotely, control your landline and open support requests with TIM technical assistance.

To access the TIM Modem app, use your MyTIM credentials. Additionally, you can enhance security by using fingerprint authentication along with your username and password.

Here's what you can do with the TIM Modem app:

In the "Modem" tab (full functionality available after logging in):

1. View, manage, update, and restart your TIM modem.
2. Check the status of your internet connection; perform speed tests, tests for internet service reachability, and the new navigation test.
3. Verify and modify your modem's Wi-Fi configuration; turn Wi-Fi on or off, optimize Wi-Fi networks, manage and share the Guest Wi-Fi network, monitor Wi-Fi traffic and device connectivity quality, check Wi-Fi coverage and speed, perform Wi-Fi backup/restore (useful for modem replacement), view and share the QR Code for your Wi-Fi network.
4. View connected TIM Wi-Fi repeaters and check signal strength towards the modem to position them appropriately.
5. WiFi Plus service: monitor the performance of your Wi-Fi network and receive notifications with suggestions and automatically implemented optimizations.
6. Control and administer devices connected to the modem. When connected to the modem via Wi-Fi, the Wake on LAN feature allows you to activate Ethernet-connected devices that support it. Draw a floor plan of your home and assign each device to its correct location.
7. Check the status of USB sharing services on your TIM modem (only available when connected via Wi-Fi) and browse the contents of connected USB drives (if supported by the modem).
8. Verify the status of voice services (on FTTCab/FTTH fiber lines).
9. Run regular check-ups on your home network.

In the "Assistance" tab:

1. Diagnose issues with your home line (FTTCab/FTTH fiber, ADSL, or telephone), report problems to technicians, or resolve common issues online related to internet, email, and telephone services.
2. Diagnose active TV services (TIMvision), resolve issues online or report them to technicians.
3. Receive notifications about any disruptions on the TIM fixed network in your area and request SMS updates for issue resolution.
4. Manage your support requests and monitor their status.
5. Ask Angie: TIM's digital assistant will help you troubleshoot technical problems with your line.

In the "Other" tab:

1. Consult technical assistance guides and videos.
2. Quickly access other TIM services (MyTIM app, TIM Personal app, EZVIZ app for TIM Cam, We TIM community, TIM Party, TIM Mail).
3. Find TIM stores.
4. Simplify Wi-Fi configuration on your device by scanning the QR Code of the TIM modem.

To use the app, you need a TIM landline and an Android smartphone/tablet with any mobile operator (TIM or other carriers). Privacy Policy and License Terms can be found in the Settings menu.
